Sold in Pairs to provide a more secure fixing for your chain screen we have purpose made a bracket allows hanging from the ceiling or underside of a reveal. These brackets are exclusive to Sway Screens.

The brackets are sold in pairs and are available in stainless steel, white, brown or black.

For a screen up to 90cm by 210cm (typical door size), we recommend one pair of ceiling brackets. Larger or longer screens will need additional brackets. 

The bead bracket measures 5cm wide x 1.5cm in height which includes the lip for the header rail to sit in. It is 3.5cm in depth, of which 2cm is the plate that should attach on the underside of your solid joist or lintel.

They need to be attached to something solid that can carry the weight of the screen, eg a joist or lintel. Screens weigh c3.5kg / m2. We advise that you do not attach to plasterboard as it will not hold the weight of the screen.

The brackets need 23mm depth to screw into and the lip hangs over an additional 15mm. The brackets measure 50mm in width.  When the brackets are installed, the screen hanging rail just hooks over the lip of the bracket and fits flush to the ceiling with 2mm clearance.

Wood screws and screw caps are provided with the brackets, together with fitting instructions.

These ceiling brackets will not hang beaded curtains or decorative PVC curtains as the hanging rails have a different profile.
